SHE'S HERE!
On behalf of her very proud parents, Ivan and Catherine I'd like to announce the arrival of Baby Sofia! My grandaughter, Sofia, (I love saying that) was born at 10:33 p.m. on April 18, weighing in at 6lb. 8oz. Although I was blessed to have witnessed her birth we only saw her but a few moments till she was taken away to be cared for by the special team of docters awaiting her. Catherine is fine but as can be expected very emotional and tired. I'm so very proud of her, she was just wonderful and so brave. Ivan was great at coaching her and even got to cut the cord. Her and Ivan are getting some alone time now to rest and wait for permission to see their baby girl. I really can't say more at this time but will keep you updated as I find out things too. As you know this is just the beginning of a very hard battle for our little baby so please continue to keep her and her parents in your prayers. Thank you for your comments I do relate them to Catherine and I know they

YESSSSS!!!!! We are so happy to have her here... yes, it is a battle but Sofi would beat it.. we have so much faith in god that he would be with her and u and Ivan and everythibng is going to work out.. we would not stop praying for u guys and specially for Sofi she is strong baby.. Congratulations to Catherine and Ivan on the birth of you gorgeous daughter Sofia, (grandaughter in Yvonne's (NANA,S) case). I wish I could see her and give you all big hugs. I'm sure she's going to fight her corner well as she has already come out fighting. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Lauren and I were on the phone last night at the time she was born, we couldn't stop thinking about y'all and so had to be "together", now I know why!!!

I am so happy for both you,Ivan and your entire families I am also thrilled to know Sophia is here. Finally! What a long ordeal just to get her here! Poor Catherine- you have to be SO tired!!! Now a new journey has begun and I'm so anxious to hear how she's doing! She more beautiful than I imagined her to be. I can see that God will take care of her. She has wonderful parents who are just as strong as thier beautiful little girl.
