Hey Everyone! I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have last posted, but with Ivan gone I didn't feel right leaving Sofie at the hospital alone. It was easier when he was here and could be there with her. But, we no longer have to worry about that cause I got to bring my baby girl Sofia home today! We have been out of the hospital for about 6 hours now and Sofie is having some trouble adjusting to the changes. She is not use to the silence! I am sure I will be up all night tonight cause I am so paranoid now that she doesn'e have a moniter hooked up to her any longer. I will write some more tomorrow and let you know how these past few days have been.
Thank you all so much for all your thoughts and prayers for my little Princess! She smiles when you call her that! Please continue to keep Sofia and all CDH babies in your prayers, especially Baby Julia who was born a few days ago. I don't think they have a blog for her, but her Mommy posts to Breath of Hope regularly, so I get my updates from there.

WOW WOW WOW WOW. I am so happy for you guys. I can not imagine how scary it must be to have her home. Adam and I have actually looked at Pulse Ox monitors on ebay because we are already scared to take him home, even though we are no where near there yet. I just posted to my blog that you guys will probably go home soon. You remain in our thoughts and prayers.
We will have to have a play date when Jackson finally gets to go home.

Wooo Hooo!!!! I am so happy for you and little Sofia. I would be so scared myself. I know it will just take a little getting used to. I hope you made it through the night okay. I am so happy but yet so sad :( I have to leave today to go to Biloxi for a months and won't be back until after the 4th of July. Keep me posted on her progress and I will keep checking in. Oh, I can't wait to meet her in person :)

I have just read your blog, Congratulations on bring princess sofia home. I remember it well it is an exciting time and scary at the same time.
I am so happy for you all it is such a mile stone. with all the bad times behind you with gods blessing your lives will be so full from now on enjoy your little girl as you all deserve to have happy times from now on.
Way To Go Sofia!!! I know it can be scary, but it is so much nicer to be home with your baby. I guess with a 2.5 year old at home I didn't have to worry too much about "silence", but it does take some adjusting. Keep up the good work, grow bigger and keep smiling!!
