Sofia is 8 Months!

Well, my Sofie is already 8 months! I can't believe it! She is doing much better than she was last week. The bottom picture of her is on Friday morning after she had all those shots she didn't need. It was 6am and she had a fever and was not feeling well at all. I forgot to mention, I think, in the last post that Sofie has started sucking her thumb and she now takes a pacifier due to teething. It is really cute, but I do hope she grows out of it. Most of the time Sofia sleeps throug the night. She usually goes down aroun 9:30pm unless she takes a late nap. Last night she went down at 10pm and woke up at 10:15am this morning. It was so nice to get that much sleep although I wake up a lot when she does that cause it scares me sometimes! But, it was great!

Baby Madeline is doing very well. She still has a long way to go, though, so please continue to keep her and her family in your prayers.

I will post again soon. Thank you all again for your prayers for Sofia and all CDH babies.

Love, Catherine

I can not believe Sofia is already 8 months, thats crazy! It only seems a few months ago you were telling me that you were pregnant with her!
Freya is bad for sucking her hand so we had to give her a dummie alot earlier than i wanted. Her need for sucking for comfort made it painful to feed her too!
Im glad Sofi is feeling better too, poor little girl.

We love you guys xxxx

Hi! I haven't checked your blog in a while but I'm glad to hear how well Sofia is doing. She looks so happy in all the pictures. She's adorable. I love the one of her sucking her thumb too. I can't believe how big she is. My daughter is almost 20 months and is only about a lb heavier than her and probably not much taller. She's a little thing though and never has been a great eater until the last couple weeks. We never were able to get her to eat a full jar of baby food, let alone 3! That's great though that Sofia does because we've had a lot of issues because of our daughter's weight and lack of eating. It's always something though.

Anyway, I can't believe she will be a year old soon! It really does go by fast. I am happy to see the happy updates that you post! Enjoy Sofia's 1st Christmas. I am sure it will seem extra special this year!

Hugs,
Tasha
