BABY SOFIA: Prayers Needed

Today Sofia met her Great-Grandfather for the first time! I just pray that it wasn't the last. My Grandfather, my Mother's Dad, is having surgery tomorrow and the doctors are saying that he only has a 45% chance of surviving. It has been years since I have seen my Grandfather, but we have been talking with him again for the past few weeks now. Now that he is back in our lives I want him to stay. Please keep my Grandfather in your prayers.

I also wanted to ask for prayers and healthy thoughts for Baby Audrey. Audrey will be having another surgery this Thursday. She has been through so much, more than Sofia, in her life. Her parents, especially her Mommy are so strong! She is now battling phnemonia, but even with that, the little SuperStar has rolled over a few times, and even giggled for her Mommy for the first time! Please keep Audrey in your prayers that she gets over her phnemonia and recovers from her surgery quickly. We love you AJ!

Baby Jackson is doing well, he is now off his O2! Yeah Jackson!!! Baby Julia just had surgery again on October 12, but is recovering well. The doctors tell her Mommy that she could be home is possibly 3 weeks! Go Julia Go!!! Julia's Mommy posted some Fun Birthday Facts on Julia's Blog that just freaked me out! So, I thought I would adjust them to Sofia and then share them with you, even though most of it is the same for both girls!

Sofia will start kindergarten in 2011, be old enough to drive a car in 2022, finish high school in 2024, and will graduate from college with the class of 2028, give or take a year. Can you imagine?

That really makes me feel old when I think of it! Speaking of my beautiful baby girl! Sofie did wake up with a fever still this morning, so I called her Pedi who asked us to come in. I told them that Sofia is now holding stuff in her mouth and won't swallow and that sometimes it looks like she has something in her mouth when she doesn't. Oh, and when she "talks" she does it with her mouth closed, so it sounds like she is humming! So, I thought that maybe she had a sore throat, but it turns out that she doesn't and the doc thinks it is just her latest trick! Sofia's urine test came back showing that she has a bladder infection. So, the doctor said to have her go until tomorrow morning and that if she still had a fever than he will change her antibiotics. She did still have a fever this evening when I put her to bed, so I just hope it is gone tomorrow. She has started acting more like my Sofie today, though. She has started her yelling for fun again and was a lot more playful. She was also full of smiles and giggles again this evening. She is so much fun, even when she isn't feeling well. We do have to go back to the Pedi on Wednesday cause it will be her 6 month birthday and she has her wellness check up and immunizations, my poor baby! Then she has to go back the next week for the Flu shot. Can you believe that they give the Flu shot according to your insurance? I think that is crazy! So, they are "serving" our insurance this week, so we will have to wait till next week if that is even when they will have it for us!
