Hi Everyone! This is going to be quick cause I want to get back to the hospital. Sofia has had another great day! They are weaning her Dobutamine and Magnesium Sulfate and she should be completely off both of those by tomorrow morning if all goes well. They removed one of the right chest tubes this morning and have water sealed the third and final chest tube. It will be clamped tomorrow and removed on Tuesday if there is no more drainage. Sofia's Dr told me this morning that surgery will be either Tuesday or Wednesday. They want her off those two blood pressure medications before surgery if possible, so hopefully she does well and will be off tomorrow. I love when she is awake and she just stares at me, well only if she is not distracted by the lights or the beeping of machines! But she just stares at me and has the most beautiful eyes! Someone will update tomorrow with more information on Sofia's progress and on the surgery. Please keep my beautiful daughter and all CDH babies in your prayers.

P.S. I am feeling much better now that they have put me on meds and I also wanted to tell you that Nana finally got to see Sofia with her eyes open today!

We are so happy to hear that Sofie is doing so well. We think of all of you often and pray that all will go well with her surgery. We're sorry to hear Catherine is not feeling well though, remember to take care of yourself mommy, Sofie will need you healthy and strong! :) A big hug to all of you.
